HK-3｜Dealing with JAM

Follow the steps in the video.

Spoon Breakthrough Function

When the machine experiences Slight Jam, there is no need to open the tobacco container lid to clean the interior. Press the "START" button, the spoon will automatically run to the farthest distance and stay outside, waiting for cleaning. (Four chances).

Then wiping the spoon clean with a damp tissue, press the"START" button to retract the spoon, and the machine will return to normal.

JAM protection program

When the START button displays a constant red light, it indicates that the machine has activated the protection program. In this state, the START button will not respond to any commands.

Protection program triggering situations:

  • When foreign objects enter the machine, or the machine determines that there is a serious jam inside.
  • When the machine prompts JAM, open the machine container cover
  • The 4 chances of the push spoon breakthrough function have been exhausted

Please make sure the inside of the machine has been cleaned before exiting the protection program.(Press and hold the shift button for 3 seconds)

  • Note:

    1. If the jam is not thoroughly processed, it is likely that the machine will experience more severe jams in subsequent operations.

    2. Cleaning the machine after each use or regularly can effectively reduce the occurrence of JAM.

  • 3. Tobacco that is too moist and powdery is more likely to cause the machine to jam. When jams occur frequently, please check whether the tobacco is suitable for HK-3 or whether it is properly sealed and stored.
